What people are saying about Shefman Law

Just wanted to publicly brag on the fact that my lawyer and her team are complete badasses, I went to see her months ago with a broken neck, broken ribs and a severed spirit. I had about $50,000 dollars in medical bills, I had no plan and no way out and had no idea what my insurance could offer and I was getting pressured by them to sign off on my expenses right away. I had no money to fund any type of physical therapy or treatment, and the insurance from the motorcycle coverage only covered about half of my expenses. I was ready to consider bankruptcy and completely deal with the fact that I was going to have to live with the physical pain of my accident without any further treatment.

I was highly skeptical of lawyers and insurance companies and just wanted to hide and not deal with any of it, I had already had personal debt and wasn't at all in a place where I could try to pay off more debt.

When I met with Lenore she was not only straight forward, personable but she came across almost maternal and protective of me and my injuries that she won my complete trust from the start. She wasn't after money and she didn't treat me like a dollar sign. She helped me get out of my slump by helping believe there was hope to get out of hole- financially, physically, and mentally. I came to her not expecting much help if any and she quickly allowed me to belief that there was plenty of help for my injuries. Her and her team completely exceeded my expectations from what was shaping out to be the worst year ever has quickly turned around.

After months of not receiving any treatment I was able to start physical therapy, chiropractic work, and start getting massages to help with the excruciating pain I witnessed in my back and neck. When things looked dire with my case Lenore, Alexandra and the team at Shefman Law were able to find ways to cover my ongoing expenses and fight for me when the insurance refused to cover on-going medical help.

I don't ever write reviews however my future feels so much brighter after going to Lenore. I still deal with the pain from my neck everyday and they say that may never go away and I have to make sure now I'm protected from any more future concussions/head bleeds but I now feel more secure because I've stepped out of the crippling financial hole I was in to continue ongoing future care. I'm hoping by writing this and a google review that other cyclist and motorcyclists can avoid the treachery of dealing with insurance companies and sleazy lawyers and feel safe with choosing Lenore and her team.

Accident attorney superstar

Woo Hoo! An attorney who's not a b**ch but 'bitchin'

Lenore came into my life when my partner fell into a manhole left uncovered in our neighborhood.
The bills were adding up on top of the absurdity that a hole in the middle of a sidewalk was left uncovered in the first place - so she decided to seek legal help.

I asked a friend of mine who's a law clerk and she highly recommended Lenore. Not only does she do personal injury cases, but also bicycle and motorcycle accidents as well. Oh and pedestrian cases! So basically an accident attorney superstar in my book.

Lenore and her staff have been highly attentive in our case and continues to make us feel like we're in good hands. We're not a number because she remembers the little things - like a trusted attorney should.

I ride bikes (both kinds) so this is definitely my speed dial if anything ever happens to me whether on wheels or on foot. Wish I knew about her when I got T-boned by a truck 3 years ago 🙁

As far as the man hole case, I do not doubt a positive outcome from it...so there will definitely be a yelp update when the case is closed 🙂

Lenore is by far the most honest, up-front and gracious lawyer

First off, a very big THANK YOU to Lenore!!!

You know all those misconceptions you typically have about lawyers - you know the ones... "Why don't sharks eat lawyers?" "Because they don't eat their own kind!"

Well, I can wholeheartedly tell you that Lenore is by far the most honest, up-front and gracious lawyer - and you thought they didn't exist!!

I was recently involved in an accident on my motorcycle. Christy vs. oblivious SUV driver = booboo Christy with crunchy motorcycle. I wanted to get some advice about what my options were before proceeding with the other parties insurance, so I did a yelp search and found Shefman Law.

I called them up and Lenore answered. She spent a good 30 minutes giving me advice, and telling me what my options were. She could have easily been a shady lawyer and taken my case, but she was honest with me said it would be in my best interest to proceed without involving litigation. She even offered to answer any other questions that may come up as I went along in the process...and all of this without compensation!

She's really like a guardian angel - she's out there for us two wheeled people who so often don't get seen and subsequently get hurt. Thanks Lenore for being there for us!

I found my own Super Hero: Lenore Shefman.

I am a victim of a red light runner. As I was dealing with the ordeal of physical therapy I found myself being forced to settle my claim OR go without any reimbursement. My husband sent me a list of all the attorneys who boldly advertise on TV. I was turned down by every single one of them. I started looking on my own and found my own Super Hero: Lenore Shefman. She was open, clear, detailed and honest. After making sure she believed that I understood everything she said, she took my case. What a relief to hand over everything and move on with my life! If I could recommend her to everyone it could in no way repay how grateful I am for the honest and efficient way she and her team handled my case.

I'll be sure to call the Shefman Law again

Much to my dismay, I learned that when a scooter and a truck collide, the scooter and rider will take the lions share of the damage. Who knew? As I sat at home with no more scooter and a couple broken bones, I decided to give Lenore Shefman a call, as it appeared from the website that her group specialized in this sort of case. This was probably the best decision I could have made. I was totally clueless as to how one should proceed following in incident like this, but Lenore and her team held my hand at every step and made the whole process, kept me well-informed, and ultimately helped my situation resolve in the best way possible. I'll be keeping their number in my phone despite the fact my case has ended. If I end up on the wrong side of a wreck again (is there a right side?), I'll be sure to call the Shefman Law again.
